- disks. It has a search filename or diskname option, a report to

- of the available environment space and beeps to let you know if you
- run out.

- screen image after a set time when the keyboard is idle. The screen
- returns to its former state when a key is pressed. The installation
- options offered are setting the blanking interval, changing the
- hotkey, entering password protection, and lots more.

- included on the disk to see a sample of what Secho can do. You'll
- also need the file TEST.DAT in the same directory. Install the program
- and run TEST.BAT by entering TEST at the DOS prompt.

- Welcome to COMPUTE's Menu Operating System (CMOS). To install the
- programs on this disk from the menu, highlight your choice on the
- menu and press Enter or click the left mouse button. Choose Install
- from the next menu, and follow the prompts to install the program. If
- you prefer to install the programs from DOS, exit the menu and enter
- MENU source destination. Source is a PAQ file or a sudirectory name.
- Destination is the drive and path where you want the installed files to
- reside. Please read the DOC files before running any of the programs.

- Looking for a fast way to read text files without loading your word
- processor? Tired of pressing Ctrl-S to stop text from scrolling
- offscreen with the DOS TYPE command? You need TurboTYPE (which first
- appeared in the July 1989 issue), a text lister that gives you the
- power to move forward or backward by line, by screenful, or by smooth
- scrolling. To run the program, enter T drive:path\filename at the DOS
- prompt. TurboTYPE appears on every disk, so you'll always have the
- latest version.
